VesselExpiry runs on the vessel's dedicated Android phone. The Master maintains the authoritative register and can share encrypted, read-only .vexp snapshots with crew.

FleetExpiry

The management fleet viewer

FleetExpiry gives authorised users a browser-based view of vessel equipment and certificates across their assigned fleet. Administrators manage vessels, users and imported vessel files.

How the two systems work together

From the vessel to the fleet office.

VesselExpiry remains the source of the vessel's register. FleetExpiry displays the latest file that an authorised administrator has imported.

Maintain onboard

The Master updates equipment, certificates and dates in VesselExpiry on the vessel Android phone.

Export & transfer

The Master exports an encrypted .vexp snapshot and sends it to the authorised FleetExpiry administrator.

Import & view

The administrator imports the file into FleetExpiry. The incoming vessel data becomes the current fleet-view record.

Vessel Master & crewThe Master controls the onboard register. Crew receive read-only copies where required.

FleetExpiry administrators & viewersAdministrators manage access and imports. Viewers see only the vessels assigned to their accounts.

Important: FleetExpiry is updated when an administrator imports a new .vexp file. It does not imply live synchronisation with the vessel phone. VesselExpiry and FleetExpiry are supplementary date-management tools and do not replace onboard inspections, maintenance procedures or statutory requirements.
